Our commitment

This site aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. It is a small site maintained by one person, so rather than claim full conformance, what follows is a plain account of what has been done and what is known to fall short.

What has been done

Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator that meets the 3:1 non-text contrast minimum. Headings follow a sequential order, images carry alt text, and form fields have real labels rather than placeholder-only ones.

Colour is never the only thing carrying meaning: an item’s availability is spelled out in words as well as shown in colour, and form errors are stated in text and announced to screen readers rather than signalled by a red border alone.

Known shortfalls

The footer’s white text on the brand red reaches 4.43:1, just under the 4.5:1 AA minimum for normal text. This is a deliberate, documented trade-off: the exact red is a brand decision, the affected text is a short set of links, and each of those links is also reachable in full-contrast black elsewhere on the page.

Legal and informational pages are currently published in English only, even when the rest of the interface is switched to another language.

If something on this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, that is a defect worth hearing about — including which browser and assistive technology you were using, if you can. Reports are read by the person who maintains the site.
